Many think of spring as the season for change and new beginnings, making it a special time to start a new life chapter. Ana and Javier had their dreamiest destination wedding in Italy under the early March sun. Their big day came to life at the Villa Cetinale, a property renowned as the most beautiful villa in Tuscany. With its world famous gardens, its own chapel, hermitage, holy wood, and 17th-century baroque architecture arrayed in classic symmetry, this venue was naturally suited for Ana and Javier’s elegant and timeless destination wedding.
Getting ready
After many months of planning and preparation, the couple’s big day had arrived. The morning began with the bride getting glammed up in her silk, ivory robe accompanied by a glass of bubbly. She then slipped into her elegant wedding gown with the help of her bridesmaids and snapped some bridal-party pictures.
Ana wore a classic long-sleeve a-line “Angelina” gown with beautiful floral lace by Monique Lhuillier Bride. Her dress was classic yet elevated, showcasing her preference for design and fashion. The gown was accompanied by a beautiful, transparent veil , giving off a romantic feel. To finish off the look, Ana had a beautiful bouquet of white calla lilies designed by Biancospino Flowers.
To add a touch of color to the day, the bridesmaids wore light blue dresses. The dresses had a minimal floral design, and the overall look exuded sophistication.
Javier chose elegant white tux jacket and black bottoms to complement the neutral and classic aesthetic of the day.
Wedding Ceremony
The couple’s classic wedding had a perfectly-coordinated aesthetic with refined decor and a neutral color palette of white and ivory, with hints of green and light blue.
The ceremony took place in the wondrous gardens of the villa surrounded by beautiful ancient statues and with a corridor of cypress trees in the backdrop. The scene was decorated with a crescent-shaped ground arch composed of white blooms, a flower petal walkway, and two gorgeous floral urns. A perfect design for an intimate and classic wedding ceremony!
After tying the knot, the newlyweds took couple photos in the picturesque gardens. In the meanwhile, the guests were enjoying a quick aperitif with delicious finger food and bruschettas, having an initial toast for the beginning of a new chapter.
Wedding reception
The elegant reception was one for great inspiration. Under an ivory draped tent with hanging crystal chandeliers, stood a white linen imperial table. The table was adorned with crystal glasses, silver candle holders with glowing candles, fresh blooms, and elegant white dinnerware. The head of the table was decorated with romantic all-white floral arrangements. Ana and Javiers wedding was the epitome of timeless elegance!
As the day came to an end, the couple cut their Millefeuille wedding cake with fresh berries. At the night reception, they had a champagne tower, a sparkling display that makes for a fun statement to raise a toast. The day ended dancing the night away with the lively music from the BritPops band.
