Stephanie + Michael | Glamorous Destination Wedding at Residenza Antica Flaminia

Stephanie and Michael tied the knot with their glamorous destination wedding on a sunny day in the countryside, not far from Rome.

This wedding was more than just a celebration, it was a journey through time and space. The Residenza Antica Flaminia was the perfect setting that made it all possible. Nestled in the heart of Italy, this charming, castle residence is a true treasure. The property features antique corridors, lush gardens, and breathtaking views of the valley of the river Treia.

Getting ready

The morning started with Stephanie and Michael getting ready separately with their bridal party.

The bride and her bridesmaids were having fun while taking pictures in their matching pink robes and sipping on champagne. A perfect way to start the big day! The bridesmaids slipped into their dresses as it was time to begin the festivities. They looked very glamorous in their burgundy long-sleeve velvet dresses and matched the rich wedding day palette. In the meantime, the beautiful bride zipped up her wedding gown with the help of her maid of honor. Stephanie chose a lace mermaid wedding gown with a deep V-neckline. A perfect dress to make a glamorous and bold statement! The bride wanted her bridal bouquet to be another stylish detail. Biancospino Flowers team designed the bouquet with deep red garden roses and dahlias, chrysanthemums, greenery, and hints of white to perfectly match her elegant look.

Stephanie then shared a special first look with her father and bridesmaids. This was the best moment to snap some candids of the bride, capturing all the enthusiasm of the big day. 

As for the groom, once dressed, he enjoyed some downtime and took photos with the groomsmen. Michael’s stylish, patterned burgundy suit with black accents and the groomsmen’s black suits complemented the wedding’s aesthetic. The couple’s glamorous destination wedding was characterized by a luxurious feel. A rich color palette provided depth to the celebration, adding a timelessly elegant, and sophisticated vibe. All the design elements were tied together, evoking a sense of glamour.

Wedding Ceremony

The ceremony took place against the astonishing backdrop of the antique walls. Biancospino Flowers adorned the head of the aisle with an asymmetrical flower arch composed of red-toned roses, dahlias, amaranthus, carnations, lush pink and ivory chrysanthemums, and eucalyptus. To match this gorgeous floral composition, the aisle was lined with whimsical floral arrangements of greenery and fresh blooms. 

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed aperitif with live jazz music and photos in front of the Roman ruins. They indulged in Italian styled bites and drinks during the fine afternoon. Then, the bride, groom, and bridal party arrived dancing into the afternoon reception.

Glamorous destination wedding

The glamorous wedding reception was a feast for the senses. A mirrored head table that reflected the natural light was the center of the reception. All the tables were decorated with candles, glasses with golden rims, golden chairs with black velvet seats, black marbled plates with golden thread, and grapes and black figs. 

To bring the couples rich vision to life, the chosen blooms for the floral centerpieces included  black dahlias, buttercups, burgundy and red garden roses, and eucalyptus. For the finishing touch, chandeliers hung over all the tables, creating an even more elegant ambiance. 

As the night went on, family and friends gave touching speeches. Then, the couple wowed their guests with a cake show. They decorated a Millefeuille cake with chantilly cream and fresh berries followed by a champagne sabrage. The night ended with the guests dancing the night away with sparklers, creating a splendid, glittering atmosphere.

Stephanie and Michael’s wedding was a magical day that united two families and celebrated the start of a new chapter in their lives. Everything from the venue and decor to the outfits was impeccably fashionable and tied to the lavish design!
